Six steps, the same on a slab check as on a handover.
Tell us the lot or street, the builder and the stage reached. We confirm which inspection fits the question you have.
A fixed figure is set by storeys and inspection type, and arrives before anything is booked.
We match a date to the builder's program and assign an inspector who knows the north west estates.
The inspector walks every accessible area, photographs each item and measures what can be measured.
Delivered inside 24 hours, with each finding located, photographed and tied to its standard or clause.
We talk you through the list, separate structure from finish, and come back to check the repairs when asked.

Thanks for quick turn around on report and updating the supervisor to rectify major defect prior to pouring.
Great work by Ibrahim. He has been spot on with inspection and meticulous. Thanks Ibrahim
Ibrahim was highly professional and diligent in his inspection. Highly recommended.
Very good service by our inspector. The report was very detailed.
We inspect every estate in Tallawong 2762 and the surrounding suburbs of Schofields, Rouse Hill, Riverstone, The Ponds, Box Hill and Nirimba Fields. Our local inspectors are on site in Tallawong most weeks, so travel never adds to the price.

Why every internal slab corner needs its own reinforcement.

Termite collars are cheap, small and easy to forget.

Tie downs and strap bracing carry the wind load in a double storey.

Request a quote online and a fixed figure comes back quickly. It depends on the inspection type, the number of storeys and the size of the home, not on the street, and travel within the north west is already included.
The slab, the day before concrete. It is the only stage where reinforcement, cover and termite collars can be seen, and the report from it goes straight to the concreter while there is still time to act.
Most visits happen within the week. Stage visits are set by the builder's program, so ring as soon as the supervisor gives you a date rather than when the trade is already packing up.
Within 24 hours of the visit, often the same evening. Each item has a photograph, a location and the standard or clause it fails, so it can go to the builder unedited.
The certifier carries out the critical stage inspections the occupation certificate depends on. That is a compliance role with a narrow scope. We work for you alone and record workmanship and contract items a certifier is not engaged to look at.
Small lots push houses upward, and second storeys bring balconies, box gutters and upstairs bathrooms. One Tallawong investigation found a balcony with no overflow, an undersized balcony drain and a box gutter with no sump, all in one house.
The National Construction Code and ABCB Housing Provisions, the NSW Guide to Standards and Tolerances 2017, AS 2870 for slabs, AS 1684 for timber framing, AS 3700 for masonry, AS 3740 for wet areas, plus your own contract, plans and engineering.
Under the Home Building Act 1989, six years for a major defect and two years for other defects, counted from completion. A clear record made at handover helps if a claim is needed later.
We do not test electrical, gas or plumbing systems, commission appliances, dismantle finishes or certify engineering. A licensed electrician or plumber deals with those, and anything hidden or unsafe to reach is noted as not inspected.
Yes. Schofields, Rouse Hill, Riverstone, The Ponds, Box Hill, Nirimba Fields and the rest of the Blacktown and Hills growth corridor are inspected by the same team.
Send it to your builder or supervisor and ask for a written response. If items are disputed, NSW Fair Trading offers a complaint and inspection process, and NCAT is the step after that.
